Toronto Maple Leafs Tampa Sport reviews
Fanfest very unorganized.
My boyfriend and I went to leafs fan fest on Saturday. And it was not worth the money I paid. It was very unorganized and we didn't get to do a lot of the things because of the rediculous long lines. I didn't like the way the players changed every hour and waiting 3 hours in line to not know what player your going to end up with. Near the puck drop you couldn't tell what line was for what. It was rediculous. Luckily we got to do the puck drop which was one of the only things we got to do. I am also not please about having to wait in line for a wrist band to get into the dressing room when I already paid over 100$ to go to leafs fest in the first place. This is supposed to be all included so why am I waiting in line to get a wrist band then to go and wait in another god awful lineup. I was not impressed.
Section 317-Penguins vs Leafs
I've been meaning to to give some feedback and this is based on several seats in various sections at Scotia Bank arena I've purchased over the years for both Leafs and Raptors games.
Tickets sold in Sections 302, 305,313 and 317 that are snug against the private box abutment are particularly flawed.
Last row Grey's at Maple Leaf Gardens
were far better seats than the many seats at Scotia Bank arena with obstructed views. Upon completion of construction did no one check these sigtlines? These seats and sections are seriously flawed for all the technology in design at your disposal in this day and age. Even Harold Ballard would be aghast.
These tickets should not be sold or should blacked out like they do to the cenrefield 500 section at Rogers Centre for Blue Jays games. If these tickets are sold they should be heavily discounted for students and other assorted hockey fans who can't afford to attend live games. This can make for a special evening for your average everyday Leaf fan. Over 200 dollars for these seats at certain Leaf and Raptors games? Nothing dynamic about going to see a game live and you can't see the whole ice rink or basketball court. I'm fortunate I can catch a few games live a year but I need to consider other affordable alternatives.Selfie deals are a start.
You can actually get a $12.00 dollar Blue Jays ticket,Argo tix under 30 or drive to see the Ottawa Senators. I get it...you pay for what the market demands. I am not adverse to paying a fair price for a fair seat with a fair full view but have you seen all the empty seats at Leaf games this year? Bad attendance no...sold out no again. This ain't the Arizona Coyotes wer'e talking about. How long is the Shanaplan rebuild again?
Is it 5 years or 54 year increments?
Is the NHL/MLSE playing "Covid Catchup" with jacking up the prices for these sporting events?
MLSE does seems to be out of touch with the everyday fan who has struggled through the pandemic. There just seems to be a corporate disconnect with the common ctizen fan base.
Greed begets Greed.
Hockey Karma...1967 and counting.
The curse on the Toronto Maple Leafs will not be lifted any time .
Ticketmaster Support downfall
Was planning a guys weekend and need 4 tickets. First seats I selected Ticketmaster wouldn't let me get because it left a single seat in that row, so the system kicked me out. When I managed to log back on there was many less seats available. So I grab 4 tickets from section 601A. When I received the email with the ticket link I noticed that the seats it allowed me to buy were handicap (accessibility) seating. So I immediately started the seat exchange process. Well it took Ticketmaster 2 weeks to respond to my request, and the seats that I could have exchanged for were all sold by that time. As well the fan support person told me my seats are not accessibility seating. So I trusted there information.
When we arrived at the game, the seats were accessibility seating. These should have been better marked on the website. I looked at it again and they are still marked as normal seats on the website. This information is false and needs to be corrected.
Overall not happy with any of Ticketmasters support systems. Would have done better going through a ticket reseller.
